Zoya Akhtar is busy shooting with stars Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma and brother Farhan Akhtar for her next venture Dil Dhadakne Do. The film is set on a European cruise with a plot involving the incidents of a dysfunctional Punjabi family taking a trip together.
They say long distance relationships can be tough but it seems they are proving to be a little too tough for love birds Deepika Padukone and Virat Kohli. Reports suggest that the Leela has already joined her Ram Ravneer on the trip. Virat on the other hand is set to follow Deepika’s footsteps and has decided to join ladylove Anushka in Europe as well. Before he sets off for his England tour, the hot cricketer has some time off and will invest it to have a few mushy moments with the Jab Tak Hai Jaan star.
We wonder how Zoya Akhtar is reacting to this sudden outburst of romance. While the cruise is already tightly packed with Priyanka Chopra’s mother on board along with Ritesh Sidhwani, Anil Kapoor and the rest of the stars, Deepika and Virat are only making it harder for the filmmaker we suppose. Accommodating so many stars on board can be tough, with logistics involving the number of rooms, food, beverages and plenty of other details.
But all is fair in love and war. Love we have seen, maybe a bit too much. We just wonder if there will be a war. Well it’s safe to say that one shouldn’t be surprised to see special appearances by Deepika and Virat, in the film. Wink, wink!
